In order to continue our mission, New Wave Home Care is always engaging with other professionals in our area to help serve local seniors. Along with other organizations and companies that work to support our aging population, we come together at least once a month to throw events and raise awareness for senior issues.
This past weekend, we were pleased to take part in another event supporting seniors in the San Gabriel Valley. Monrovia Providers Group graciously hosted a holiday luncheon on Saturday, December 7. The event hosted over 200 seniors who came together to celebrate the holiday spirit with live music, a full turkey dinner, and special holiday gifts.
As the holidays can often be a lonely time for elderly citizens and anyone else who may feel isolated from friends and family, this was a great way to build community and boost moral. In the coming weeks, we hope to usher in a lovely Christmas season and continue to make the holidays a delightful time for all.
